• Avoid an abnormal posture. Keep
proper footing and balance at all

wear loose clothing or jewellery.

from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewellery or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.

Using and handling the power tool

• Do not overload the device. Use the
appropriate power tool for your
work. Working within the stated perfor-
mance range and with the right power
tool will be better and safer for you.
• Do not use a power tool with a defec-
tive switch. A power tool which can no
longer be switched on or off is danger-
ous and must be repaired.
• Remove the plug from the socket
before making adjustments to the
device, changing accessories or put-
ting the device away. This precaution-
ary measure prevents the power tool
from starting accidentally.
• Keep unused power tools out of the
reach of children. Do not let people
who are unfamiliar with the device,
or who have not read these instruc-
tions, use the device. Power tools are
dangerous when used by unexperi-
enced people.
• Maintain power tools with care.
Check whether moving parts are
functioning properly and are not
jamming, whether parts are broken
or so damaged that it affects the
function of the power tool. Have
damaged parts repaired before
using the device. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained power
tools.
