instructions.
General safety information for pow-
er tools
WARNING! Please read all
safety instructions and direc-
tions! Failure to follow the safety
instructions and directions may
result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
• Keep all safety information and
instructions for future reference.
The term 'power tool' used in the safety
information refers to the jack and
impact wrench.

Safety in the workplace

• Keep your area of work clean and
well-lit. Untidy or unlit working areas
may cause accidents.
• Do not work with the power tool in
environments where there is a risk of
explosion, and where flammable liq-
uids, gases or dust are present.
Power tools create sparks which may
ignite dust or fumes.
• Keep children and other people
away while using the power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose con-
trol of the device.

Electrical safety

• The plug of the power tool must fit in
the socket. The plug must not be
altered in any way. Unaltered plugs
and sockets which fit correctly reduce
the risk of injuries caused by electric
currents.
• Keep power tools away from rain or
moisture. The penetration of water into
a power tool increases the risk of inju-
ries caused by electric currents.

• Do not use the cord to carry or hang
the power tool or to unplug it from
the wall outlet. Keep the cable away
from heat, oil, sharp edges or mov-
ing device parts. Damaged or tangled
cables increase the risk of injuries
caused by electric currents.
• When operating a power tool out-
doors, only use an extension cord
which is also suitable for outdoor
use. Using an extension cord which is
suitable for outdoor use reduces the
risk of injuries caused by electric cur-
rents.
• If you must use an additional charger
in a damp environment, use a fault-
current circuit breaker. Using a fault-
current circuit breaker reduces the risk
of an electric shock.

Personal safety

• Use chocks to prevent vehicle from
rolling away. There is a risk of life-
threatening injuries!
• Be alert, pay attention to what you
are doing and work sensibly with a
power tool. Do not use a power tool
if you are tired or under the influence
of drugs, alcohol or medication.
One moment of inattention while using
the power tool may lead to serious inju-
ries.
• Wear the recommended personal
protective equipment. Wearing per-
sonal protective equipment, depending
on the type of power tool and how it is
used, reduces the risk of injuries.
• Avoid accidental commissioning.
Make sure that the power tool is
switched off before connecting it to
the power supply, picking it up or
carrying it. If you have your finger on
the switch while carrying the power tool,
or connect the device to the power sup-
ply while it is switched on, this may
cause an accident.
• Remove adjusting tools or wrenches
before switching the power tool on.
A tool or wrench in a rotating device
part may cause injuries.
