Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zum Einbau in einen Computer mit Mini-PCI-Express-Steckplatz vorgesehen und stellt dort
zwei SATA-III-Ports zur Verfügung.
Dieses Produkt erfüllt die gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen. Alle enthaltenen Fir-
mennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen Inhaber. Alle Rechte vorbehalten.

Einbau
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau besitzen, so lassen Sie den Einbau von
einer Fachkraft oder einer entsprechenden Fachwerkstatt durchführen!
Durch unsachgemäßen Einbau wird sowohl die Steckkarte als auch Ihr Computer und
alle angeschlossenen Geräte beschädigt.
Vorsicht, Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie den Computer, in den die Steckkarte eingebaut werden soll und alle ange-
schlossenen Geräte aus und trennen Sie alle Geräte von der Netzspannung, ziehen Sie
den Netzstecker! Das Ausschalten über den Ein-/Ausschalter genügt nicht!
• Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers und nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel vorsichtig ab.
• Suchen Sie einen freien Mini-PCI-Express-Steckplatz und setzen Sie die Steckkarte dort ein.
Abhängig von der Bauart des Steckplatzes lässt sich die Steckkarte entweder festschrauben oder ggf.
über Clipse o.ä. befestigen.
• Verbinden Sie die SATA-Anschlüsse über entsprechende SATA-Kabel mit Ihren Laufwerken (Festplatten,
SSDs oder optische Laufwerke).
Falls gewünscht, können Sie den LED-Anschluss der Steckkarte mit einer Festplatten-LED in Ihrem PC-
Gehäuse verbinden. Achten Sie hierbei auf die Polarität des Steckers. Wenn die LED später bei Schreib-/
Lesezugriffen nicht blinkt, so ziehen Sie den Stecker ab und stecken Sie ihn um 180° gedreht wieder auf.
• Fixieren Sie die Kabel z.B. mit Kabelbindern, so dass sie nicht in einen Lüfter des Computers gelangen
können.
• Verschließen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers.
• Verbinden Sie Computer und Monitor wieder mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie alle Geräte ein.
• Startet Ihr Computer nicht korrekt, so schalten Sie ihn sofort aus und kontrollieren Sie sämtliche
Einstellungen und Kabelverbindungen.
Vor dem erneuten Öffnen des Computers ist dieser von der Netzspannung zu trennen, siehe
oben!
Treiber-Installation
• Nachdem Windows gestartet wird, erkennt dieses die Steckkarte automatisch als neue Hardware.
Brechen Sie die Suche nach Treibern ab.
• Legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD in das entsprechende Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein. Alternativ können die
Treiber auch auf einem anderen Computer auf einen USB-Stick kopiert werden, wenn Ihr Computer nicht
über ein CD-/DVD-Laufwerk verfügt.
• Starten Sie das Programm „Setup.exe" im Hauptverzeichnis der CD und folgen Sie allen Anweisungen.
Beachten Sie ggf. die englischsprachige Anleitung des Herstellers, die entweder in Papierform oder als
PDF auf der CD vorliegt.

Möglicherweise ist nach der Treiberinstallation ein Neustart von Windows erforderlich.
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen.

Intended use
The product is intended to be installed in a mini-PCI express slot on a computer, to provide two SATA-III
ports.
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All names of companies and

Installation
• Open your computer's case and carefully remove the cover.
• Find a free mini-PCI express slot and insert the plug-in card.
If there are screws or other means of securing provided, secure the plug-in card with the screws or clips.
• Connect the SATA connectors to your drives (hard drives, optical drives or SSDs) using suitable SATA
cables.
If desired, you can connect the LED connector on the plug-in card to a hard drive LED on your PC case.
Observe the correct polarity of the plug when so doing. If the LED does not fl ash during subsequent write
/ read access, pull out the plug and reinsert it, after rotating by 180 degrees.
• If necessary, secure all cables with cable ties, so they cannot obstruct your computer's fan.
• Close the computer housing.
• Reconnect your computer and monitor to the mains voltage and switch on all the devices.
• If your computer does not start correctly, switch it off immediately and check all the settings and cable
connections.
Driver installation
• After Windows has started, it automatically recognises the plug-in card as new hardware. Stop the search
for the driver.
• Insert the enclosed CD in an appropriate drive on your computer. Alternatively, you can copy the driver
software from another computer to a memory stick; that is, if your computer does not have a CD/DVD
drive.
• Start the "Setup.exe" program from the root directory on the CD and follow all of the instructions. You may
need to consult the manufacturer's operating instructions in English, provided either in paper form or in
PDF format on the CD.

If you do not have the expertise to install the device correctly, please contact an expert or
a specialist workshop and let them carry out the installation!
Incorrect installation can cause damage to the plug-in card and also to your computer
and all connected devices.
Caution, lethal hazard!
Switch off the computer in which the plug-in card is to be mounted and disconnect all
devices from the mains voltage, by unplugging their plugs from the mains socket! Just
turning off at the on/off switch is not enough!
Before opening the PC again, disconnect the PC from the mains voltage, see above!
You may have to restart Windows after installing the driver.
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory regulations!
