4 Operating elements

NOTE
• The type of ignition (contact or HF) and the output (rated current and
corresponding duty cycle) of the plasma power source and the plasma
cutting torch must be identical.

NOTE
• Precise adjustment of the compressed air pressure and flow/volume are
important for: igniting the pilot arc, quality of cut, service life of torch and
wearing parts.
• A pressure smaller than the pressure listed in Table 2 Operating pressure
will lead to thermal overload of the torch and must be avoided by proper
adjustment of a pressure monitor on the system side.

NOTE
• Use only compressed air which is free of dirt, oil and water.
• We recommend: Initial filter 5µm of retained particle size. Submicrofilter
0.01µm of retained particle size, 99.99% of oil separation rate. Air
throughput at a flow pressure of 5.0 bar.

NOTE
• As the ABICUT 25K/45/75 cutting torches are integrated into a
cutting system, the operating instructions of the welding components,
such as the power supply, must be observed.
Using a standard cutting torch, the two-cycle mode of the trigger can be
activated.
