Important Safeguards; Assembling The Vacuum Cleaner - Alpina SF-3917 Bedienungshinweise

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rating label.
3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.
4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before putting on/taking off parts.
6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.
7. If damaged or malfunction occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.
8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.
9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.
10.
Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.
Additional Safety Instructions:
1. Use only as instructed in this manual.
2. Do not use without dust bag and/or filter in place.
3. Do not block inlet or outlet with hair or sharp objects that may reduce airflow.
4. This dry vacuum cleaner shall not be used for liquids.
5. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers away from openings and moving parts.
6. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible materials such as gasoline, cigarette butts, matches, etc.
7. Always unplug this appliance before connecting or disconnecting vacuum hose.
8. Handle the cord with care; do not use cord as a handle, avoid the cord being run, clipped between doors or around
Sharp edges or corners, and keep cord away from hot surfaces.
9. Keep hands dry when using the vacuum cleaner.
10. Turn‐off the appliance before unplugging from wall outlet.
ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER
1. Press the button on top of the plastic suction tube head and then push it in direction of air inlet hole until it locks into place.

2. When discharge the hose, press the button on top of the plastic suction tube head and then pull it back towards you. (FIG2)
3. When connecting, insert the bigger end of the connecting tube into air flow handle and then swivel it to firm connection. (FIG3)
4. Connection of connecting tube with floor brush. Insert the smaller end of connecting tube into the tube on the floor brush, and
then swivel it to firm connection. (FIG4)
NOTE: Floor brush is ideal for daily cleaning of carpets and floors.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Before using the appliance, pull the cord to sufficient length and insert the plug to the power socket. A yellow mark on the
power cable shows ideal cable length. Do not extend the cable beyond red mark. (FIG5)
2. Control the suction power by the air flow regulator on the air flow handle. To push ahead, suction power will minish; to push
backwards, suction power will increase. (FIG6 & 7)
3. Crevice nozzle is suitable for cleaning radiators, corners, edges, drawers etc. (FIG 8)
