condizioni superficiali (corrosione o deterioramento). Qualsiasi potenziale riflusso non può
essere maggiore della capacità di scarico del dispositivo; verificare inoltre la capacità della
rete di scarico di ricevere l'acqua di scarico e la presenza di fluido nell'eventuale sifone. Il
primo segnale di cattivo funzionamento, generalmente provocato dalla presenza di corpi
estranei (sabbia o altre impurità), si manifesta con una perdita permanente dallo scarico.
Tale perdita non costituisce che un primo allarme e non mette assolutamente in pericolo
la sicurezza del ritegno, ma richiede una rimozione ed una pulizia dell'apparecchio e del
filtro a monte. Un rapido metodo di controllo (richiede un tempo inferiore ai 15 minuti) è
indicato dalle procedure di seguito riportate.
N.B. In caso di perdita allo scarico è consigliabile provocare per alcuni minuti un forte
flusso di circolazione mediante l'apertura di uno o più rubinetti: spesso questa operazione
è sufficiente per espellere eventuali corpi estranei e riportare il tutto alla normalità.
The backflow preventer is a health protection safety device and therefore requires
periodical inspection according to EN 806-5 standard: the inspection procedures should
be carried out once every six months, while the maintenance procedures (functional
check) should be performed at least once a year.
Inspection: check if any variation in the water usage occurred downstream of the device
and the suitability of the unit to the protection of the water supply. Check the easy access
to the protection unit, the ventilation of the installation area, the installation position is not
subjected to flood, the anti-frost or high temperature protection. Verify the functionality of
protection unit components (valves, strainer), the verticality of the discharge, the distance
from the device to the discharge conveyor system, the surface conditions (corrosion or
wear). Any possible backflow should not be higher than the discharge capacity of the
device; verify furthermore the capacity of the discharge network to receive the discharged
water and the presence of medium inside the siphon (if present).
The first indication of poor operation, generally caused by foreign matter (sand or other
debris), is revealed with a permanent leak from the drain. This leak is merely an early
warning and definitely does not put the safety of the check valve at risk, but it requires
removing and cleaning the unit and the strainer upstream. A quick method of inspection
(taking less than 15 minutes) is described in the following procedures.
N.B. In the event of leakage at the drain it is recommended to generate a major flow of
circulation by opening one or more taps for a few minutes: this is often sufficient to expel
any foreign matter and bring everything back to normal.
Der Systemtrenner dient der Sicherheit im Sanitärbereich und muss daher regelmäßig
nach EN 806-5 überprüft werden. Die Inspektion hat alle sechs Monate zu erfolgen, die
Wartung (Betriebskontrolle) dagegen mindestens einmal pro Jahr.
Inspektion: Etwaige Änderungen bei der Nutzung des Wassers vor dem Systemtrenner
sowie die Eignung der Gruppe zum Schutz der Wasserversorgung überprüfen. Die
Zugänglichkeit zur Schutzgruppe, die Belüftung am Installationsstandort, die gegen
Überschwemmungen geschützte Installationsposition sowie den Schutz gegen Frost bzw.
übermäßige Temperaturen überprüfen.
Die Funktionstüchtigkeit der Bauteile der Schutzgruppe (Ventile, Filter), die senkrechte
Ausrichtung des Ablaufs, den Abstand der Vorrichtung zum Auslasssystem sowie den
Oberflächenzustand (Korrosion oder Beschädigung) kontrollieren. Jeder potenzielle
Rückfluss darf nicht größer sein als die Ablassleistung der Vorrichtung. Darüber hinaus
ist die Abwasser-Aufnahmekapazität des Abflussnetzes sowie das Vorhandensein von
Flüssigkeit im eventuellen Siphon nachzuweisen. Ein erster Hinweis auf Betriebsstörungen,
die im allgemeinen durch Fremdkörper (Sand oder sonstige Unreinheiten) verursacht
werden, ist ein permanentes Tropfen am Auslass. Diese Undichtigkeit ist jedoch nur
ein erstes Alarmanzeichen und beeinträchtigt die Sicherheit des Rückhaltesystems in
keiner Weise; sie macht jedoch die Demontage sowie die Reinigung des Geräts und des
vorgeschalteten Schmutzfängers notwendig. Eine rasche Kontrollmethode (sie nimmt
weniger als 15 Minuten in Anspruch) wird nachfolgend beschrieben.
N.B. Im Falle einer Undichtigkeit am Auslass empfiehlt sich, einige Minuten lang durch
Öffnen eines oder mehrerer Hähne einen starken Zirkulationsfluss herzustellen. Oftmals
genügt allein dieser Vorgang, um die eventuell vorhandenen Fremdkörper auszuspülen
und damit den Normalzustand wieder herzustellen.
