Removing the RSM
This procedure must be carried out away from
hazardous environment.
Turn the radio off before removing the RSM from the radio
accessory connector. Remember to reattach the radio
accessory connector seal to the side of the radio when an
accessory is not being used.

SERVICE AND WARRANTY

The Remote Speaker Microphone is not field repairable.
However, there are items which can be replaced/serviced
by an Intrinsically Safe (IS) trained personnel from your
Motorola Service Center who is aware of the special parts
required and the procedures to maintain the ATEX
conformance of the product. The following replacement
part is available for order through your Motorola Service
representative.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Any RSMs disassembled in the field will invalidate ATEX conformance of the
product. Only the replacement part in Table 1 can be used without invalidating
ATEX conformance.
