1) Do not use the meter if it is damaged. Check the casing before use, especially the insulation around the connectors.
2) Check the insulation of the test probes for damage or exposed metal. Check if the test probes are conductive. If a test probe is
damaged, please replace it with a new one for continued operation.
3) If the meter is not working properly, do not use it. Its protective device may have been damaged. If you have any doubt, the meter
should be sent for repair.
4) Never use the meter near explosive gases, vapors or dust.
5) Never apply a voltage greater than the rated voltage indicated on the meter between the terminals or between the ground and any
terminal.
6) Before use, check that the meter is working properly by measuring a known voltage.
7) Use only designated replacement parts during repair.
8) Exercise caution when working with voltages above 30Vac rms, 42Vac peak or 60Vdc. These voltages pose a shock hazard.
9) When the test probes are used, keep your fingers behind the finger guards.
10) When connecting, connect the common test lead before the live test lead. During removal of the wiring, remove the live test lead
before the common test lead.
11) Remove the test probes before opening the battery cover or meter casing.
12) Do not use the meter when the battery cover or a part of the casing is removed or loosened.
19) Do not use the test probes included in the meter on other meters.
20)When a dangerous voltage is supplied to an input terminal, please note that this voltage may be supplied to all the other terminals.
21) CAT IV: applies to all outdoor power supply line or equipment.
13) When the low battery voltage symbol "
can cause false readings, resulting in electric shock or personal injury.
14) When the meter is in the relative value mode (i.e. "
appears on the screen), please exercise caution, as the measured circuit may be supplied with dangerous voltage.
15) During current measurement, disconnect the power to the circuit to be measured before connecting the meter.
16) To avoid electric shock, the user should not be in contact with any exposed conductors.
17) Safety protection equipment must be used when working in close proximity to exposed hazardous live conductors according to
local and national regulations.
18) Do not use the meter when the user's hand or environment is humid, or when the meter is humid.
Warning:
To avoid electric shock and personal injury, please follow the following operating requirements:
1) Before measuring resistance, continuity, temperature, diode or capacitance, disconnect the power to the circuit to be measured
andfully discharge all capacitors.
2) Use the correct terminals, functions and ranges.
3) Before measuring the current, check that the fuse is intact. Disconnect the power to the circuit to be measured before connecting
the meter.
4) Remove the test probes from the measured circuit before rotating the function/position switch to change the function.
5) The meter is designed to prevent interference in many ways, but it may freeze in e.g. the complex environment with excessive
interference. In this case, it can operate properly by switching on the power again.
