INSTALLATION
Making the foundation
Place the tub on an even surface that bears the tub weight. The foundation can be levelled with
chips or if you want a more solid foundation, it can be cast of concrete. The stove cannot
incline downwards so that it will empty sufficiently. If you leave water in the stove, it may
freeze and break the stove. We recommend an EPS or urethane plate under the aluminium
tub to insulate the tub from the ground.
Water discharge
Note also that the drain with a tap can be found as a standard in the 1 ½" stove. The drain is a ball
valve with a 1 1/2" inner thread. Plan the location of your tub in such a manner that the water
discharge does not cause any problems. In order to discharge the water, you need to install the tub
a little inclined towards the water discharge. You can attach a joint hose to the discharge pipe easily
in order to make the water discharge easier. There may be some water in the tub, it may be left
there for the winter but it can be removed with a cloth. Use pipe tape on all pipe thread
connections, in case the connection does not have any sealing.
NOTE!
The ball valve should always be left half open so that it does not freeze and that the tub is emptied
completely.
Fastening the stove
The external TUBE stove is delivered disconnected and there are model-specific instructions and
equipment in the stove package. Ensure the water-tightness and fastening to the tub. There is an
optional model-specific drink holder/protective plate available through which fastening the stove
can be made.
