To ensure easy removal of the cover, the rubber
seal has been pre-lubricated with biologically
degradable grease during production. After some
time, opening the cover may become more difficult
which can be corrected by re-lubrication of the
rubber seal using an environmentally friendly
grease (e.g. Vaseline, margarine, etc). Re-
lubrication will also help prevent water penetration
into the main body.

Before you operate the mini submarine EXP-
for the first time it will be necessary to install the
enclosed receiver crystal. Please push the
crystal (figure 1.1) carefully into the crystal
holder, shown in figure 1.2, without bending or
damaging it. The polarity is not important, which
