4. Preparations for the first dive
Before setting up, make sure that you have all
the following items:
- Transmitter
- Mini submarine
- Quick-charger
- 8 x AA size batteries (for the transmitter unit)
- Jumper (for switching "ON")
- Trim set (washers)
- Instruction manual
First charge the battery of the E-XP
operating the mini submarine. This will take
approx. 1 hour.

4.1 Opening the E-XP

Please open the submarine carefully by removing
the cover from the main body. This is done by
gently pushing a flat/broad instrument between
the main body and the cover. See Figure 1.
Attention:
Be extremely careful not to damage the highly
sensitive motors when opening the submarine.
