How the AVLink Set is used and connected
1. Used as single link bridge to relay the signals
1.1: Connection setup on the receiving side
• Case 1: Catch AV signals directly via wireless antenna on receiving side
of AVLink. This method is the regular connection method and is used to
receive signals with clear line of sight. See illustration below.
• Case 2: Take the signals input from the far side antenna (outdoor) such
as Yagi antenna or flat antenna outside via antenna cable and then
feed signals into AVLink receiving side. This method is used when there
are some obstacles between antenna and AVLink such as wall or floor.
Below is the illustration.
• Case 3: Feed transmitting signals directly from camera into AVLink recei-
ving side via antenna cable, Connector with female head is needed and
this connection method is useful when camera side has wall or floor
blocking the wireless signal transmission to AVLink receiving side
1.2: Connection setup on transmitting side
• Case 1: Connect flat antenna directly on the AVLink transmitting side.
This is the regular connection and is used with the clear line of sight for
wireless transmission.
• Case 2: Use T connector with male head to split the transmitting signals,
one is to flat antenna directly and another is to outside antenna via
cable. This method is used when wall or floor is in between and wants
to offer multiple signal access points inside house.
