Use
The device can be used to chop up and cut into pieces onions, fruit, vegetables,
hard cheese, herbs, nuts and meat.
The device has a double-bladed stainless steel knife with optimised blade cur-
vature. The short distance from the stainless steel knife to the bottom of the glass
container means that small quantities can also be finely chopped.
For cutting and chopping soft foods such as herbs, use speed setting I.
For harder foods and for chopping the food into smaller pieces, use speed setting II.
Start-up
Please clean all the parts as described in the section "Cleaning and Care" before
these come into contact with food.
▪ Carefully remove the protective cover from the stainless steel blade (4) and
place the stainless steel blade (4) into the slot at the bottom of the container
(5). If necessary, twist the stainless blade (4) slightly until it slides downwards.
Caution: The blade is sharp. For this reason, always attach the protective cover
when not working with the blade.
▪ Insert the food, cover the container (5) with the splash guard (3). Insert the
food into the container (5) but not past the MAX mark.
▪ Attach the drive unit (2) and turn this until it locks into the splash guard (3).
After inserting the mains plug, press down the desired start button (1) several
times in short bursts until the desired results are achieved.
▪ You must wait until the stainless steel blade (4) has come to a standstill before
removing the protective cover (3).
