Safety instructions

▪ This appliance is not intended for use by persons who are

abilities, nor is it to be used by persons without sufficient
experience and/or knowledge, unless these persons are
supervised by persons responsible for their safety or unless
they have been instructed how to use the appliance.

The device may only be used for the intended purpose accord-
ing to these operating instructions. Therefore, carefully read
the operating instructions prior to commissioning. It provides
instructions for using, cleaning and maintaining the device.
We do not assume any liability for any damage if the instruc-
tions are not observed. Keep the operating instructions well
preserved and pass them on to the subsequent user together
with the device. Also note the warranty information at the
end. The device is not intended for commercial use, but rather
only for grinding coarse salt, peppercorns and dried herbs and
spices in common household amounts.

Inserting the batteries

The salt / pepper mill is operated by four AA 1.5 V batteries
(included in the delivery).
In order to access the battery compartment (4), remove the
casing (2). Hold the mill at the bottom and turn the casing (2)
in a counter-clockwise direction with your other hand until
the casing marking (3) shows the
