The hose or flexible pipe must be replaced at the specified times or annually.
▪
If there are signs of abrasion, wear or damage, the hose must be replaced
before using the device. Only use hoses approved by the manufacturer.
▪
The patio heater must be checked by qualified specialists before use and at
least once a year. More frequent cleaning may be necessary. The control
device, the burners and the ventilation openings of the device must always be
clean.
▪
Switch off the device and check the terrace heating immediately in the
following situations:
▪
Gas smell in connection with very yellow colored flame tips.
▪
Terrace heating does not reach the appropriate temperature. A temperature
of less than 5 ℃ prevents heat flow, the device will not work properly.
▪
There is a popping sound from the device during use (a quiet, popping sound
when the flames are extinguished is normal).
▪
The regulator and the hose must not lie on sidewalks, as this can be a trip
hazard, or the hose must be laid so that it cannot be damaged.
▪
Any protective devices that have been removed for maintenance of the terrace
heating must be reinstalled before using the terrace heating.
▪
Children and adults must be warned of the dangers of very high temperatures
and should stay away from the device in order to avoid burns or the ignition of
clothing.
▪
Small children and pets should be supervised in the area of the terrace heating.
▪
Do not hang any clothing or other flammable materials on or next to the device.
▪
Do not place any objects on or near this device, certain materials or objects in
the area of this device can be severely damaged due to heat radiation.
▪
Do not use or store flammable materials near this device.
▪
Do not spray aerosol around this device while it's in use.
▪
Make sure that there is a minimum distance of 0.9m from flammable materials.
