Operating principle
The CM-KRN protects and unloads sensitive contacts. The
contact to be protected is switched between Y1 and Yx*.
Control with or without memory function can be selected. With
the adjustable pick-up delay (t) version, it is possible to bridge
the control contact chatter time in a range from 0.05 to 30 secs.
Minimum contact making time for versions without pick-up delay
is about 20 ms.
a) Use as simple arc suppression:
The output relay picks-up when the Y1-Y2 contact is closed for
at least the duration of time t and drops out when the contact
opens again.
b) Use as arc suppression with memory function:
Behaviour pattern as a) when the contact Y1-Y3 is closed,
however the status remains stored when the Y1-Y3 contact is
opened. Relay pickup continues until the contact Y1-Y4 closes.
The inputs can also be triggered using 3-wire proximity switches.

Principe de fonctionnement
Le CM-KRN protège et décharge des contacts sensibles. Le
contact devant être protégé est commuté entre Y1 et Yx*. Une
activation avec ou sans fonction de mémorisation est possible.
Dans la version avec temporisation de réponse réglable (t), la
durée de rebondissement des contacts de commande peut être
shuntée entre 0.05 et 30 s. La durée minimum d'activation du
contact est d'environ 20 ms sur la version sans temporisation
de réponse.
a) Utilisation comme simple protection de contact:
Le relais de sortie est excité lorsque le contact Y1-Y2 est fermé
ou moins pendant la durée t, et retombe après l'ouverture du
contact.
b) Utilisation comme protection de contact avec possibilité de
mémorisation:
Comportement comme a) dans la fermeture du contact Y1-Y3,
toutefois mémorisation après l'ouverture des contacts Y1-Y3. Le
relais reste excité jusqu'à ce que le contact Y1-Y4 se ferme.
Les entrées peuvent également être activées via des détecteurs
de proximité à 3 fils.
