5.2 Controls for D-Series amplifiers (see page 20!)
All controls are fitted flush to the brushed aluminium front and
back plate for protection. The back plate is usually only 14°C
warmer than the ambient temperature.
The temperature and speed-controlled fan provide extra cooling
if the ventilation conditions are unfavourable or the ambient
temperatures are extreme, e.g. direct sunlight. The fan is not usually
required during normal operation and is therefore switched off.
(1) Main jack
Used to connect the supplied IEC mains cable. Powercon mains
jack: for lockable Powercon mains plugs. A significantly safer
mains connector - the Powercon plug and jack connector
prevent the unit from being unplugged unintentionally during
operation.
Possible to connect max. 4 Subs per supply lead.
(2) Power switch (on/off)
Actuating the Power on/off switch starts up the amplifier, the
switched-mode mains and the DSPs in soft-start mode. The
status LED (E) light up green - your DSP amplifier is ready for
operation.
(4) Output port ch1
The loadspeakers are connected to output jacks (4) and (5).
Plug & Play. You can connect up to two Tops per channel (ch1
and ch2).
Observe the minimum impedance of 4 ohms!
Speakon configuration (4):
1+/1- out
2+/2- (not connected)

(5) Output jack ch2
The loadspeakers are connected to output jacks (4) and (5).
Plug & Play. You can connect up to two loadspeakers per
channel (ch1 and ch2).
Observe the minimum impedance of 4 ohms!
Output jack (5) has no function in bridge mode.
Speakon configuration (5):
1+/1- out
2+/2- (not connected)
(8) Input jack ch1
Connect your mixing desk to the input jacks (8) and (6).
The lockable XLR jack provides you with a very secure
connection - the lock prevents the unit from being unplugged
unintentionally during operation.
(6) Input jack ch2
Connect your mixing desk to the input jacks (8) and (6).
The lockable XLR jack provides you with a very secure
connection - the lock prevents the unit from being unplugged
unintentionally during operation.
(9) Link jack ch1
The input signal is available unchanged at XLR link jacks (9)
and (7) and can be transmitted to other devices.
(7) Link jack ch2
Link jacks: The input signal is available unchanged at these XLR
link jacks and can be transmitted to other devices.
