10.2 Securing/releasing the clamping nut:
Securing the clamping nut:
The 2 sides of the clamping nut (A6-3/B9-3) are different.
A6-2 / B9-2
Screw the clamping nut onto the spindle (A6-1/B9-1) as
follows:
1) For thin grinding discs:
The edge of the clamping nut (A6-3/B9-3) faces

upwards so that the thin grinding wheel can be
attached securely.

2) For thick grinding discs:
The edge of the clamping nut (A6-3/B9-3) faces
downwards so that the clamping nut can be attached

Releasing the clamping nut:
Turn the clamping nut (A6-3/B9-3) anticlockwise using
the clamping wrench (A6-4/B9-4) to unscrew (B10).

Slide the trigger switch (A2-3) forwards and then push
the trigger switch (A2-3) upwards.
Switching off: Release the trigger switch (A2-3).
Continuous operation:
Switching on: See page 3, figure A9.
Switch the machine on as described above. Now slide
the trigger switch (A2-3) forwards again and release
in the front position to lock the trigger switch (A2-3)
(continuous operation).
Switching off: Push the trigger switch (A2-3) upwards
and release.
Cordless machine VARILEX
Switching on: See page 5, figure B11.
Push the sliding switch (B2-4) forwards. For continuous
operation, now tilt it downwards until it engages.
Switching off: Press the rear end of the slide switch
(B2-4) and release it.
