THE VACUUM PACKING SYSTEM FOR THE HOME
We compliment you on your purchase and thank you for your confidence in us. You are advised to carefully
read these directions, which will enable you to use the EFFENNE Agila properly and obtain optimal results in
terms of food preservation. Furthermore, we suggest you keep these instructions handy for further reference.
MACHINE NOMENCLATURE and FUNCTIONS
See the illustrations on page 1.
(1) Control panel - To set the functions of the machine
(2) LOCK/UNLOCK buttons - Used to fasten and open the lid (5).
(3) Air intake for the Tube - To insert the Tube to perform vacuum packing in all canisters and with all MAGIC
VAC® accessories.
(4) Vacuum button - To create vacuum in the containers using the tube.
(5) Cover - Open in the upper fixed position, it allows for bags to be positioned before proceeding with
packing.
(6) Bag Cutter - Can be used in both directions.
(7) Vacuum chamber - Is the location for positioning the bag and evacuating the air.
(8) Sealing bar - Heating element which seals the bag.
(9) Sealing gasket - Presses the bag on the Sealing Bar.
(10) Airtight gasket - Guarantees the vacuum in the chamber allowing for air to be evacuated from the bags
(11) Window - Solution that allows the user to see the correct positioning of the bag in the vacuum Chamber.
(12) Socket for power cord
(13) Power Cable - To connect the machine to power.
(14) Anti-skid Feet - Prevent the machine from sliding during use.

DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS AND FUNCTION
(1A) SEAL MODE - Key to set sealing: Dry for packaging dry food or Humid for packaging wet food.
(1B) SEAL - Key to manually start bag sealing. (wait 30 seconds between one seal and another for the device
to cool down).
(1C) VAC SEAL - Key to start the automatic packaging cycle in bags including final sealing.
(1D) STOP - Cancel function key, i.e. to stop any packaging in progress.
(1E) LEDs - Light up when the machine is running.

Note: If several lights flash simultaneously after continuous
operation, the overheating protection is active. Wait 5-10 min-
utes for the device to cool down and return to normal mode.
