4.1.3 Mount the shearing head of the FAV5

The shearing head GT330 #10 (USA+UK) for clipping
machine FAV5 Hybrid is included in the scope of deliv-
ery. Various shearing heads are available for different
applications
If the knife hinge is closed: Open knife hinge 13
with a screwdriver, see Fig. 1.

clipping machine with appropri-
ate caution.

Install shearing head 14 on open knife hinge 13,
see Fig. 2.

Press ON/OFF switch 5.
Gently push shearing head 14 towards clipping
machine FAV5 Hybrid, see Fig. 2.
The shearing head 14 engages with an audible
click.
Check that shearing head 14 is correctly seated on
clipping machine FAV5 Hybrid.
4.2 Function check of clipping machine
Favorita Hybrid/FAV5 Hybrid
Carry out a visual inspection.
Check the switch position.
Mount the shearing head correctly and lubricate it
if necessary, see Chapter Handling shearing head
Favorita Hybrid and see Chapter Handling shearing
head FAV5 Hybrid
Clean clipping machine Favorita Hybrid/FAV5
Hybrid before use, see Chapter Cleaning/disinfec-
tion.
