SETTING UP THE SPEAKERS

Setup
• With a 5-speaker system you can achieve a good room sound effect.
The rear speakers provide a diffused sound, while the centre speaker in
the middle emphasises speech.
• Using only the main speakers and the rear surround speakers will also
give a live impression.
• When using the centre speaker, speech and dialogue are placed
precisely.
• If you want to feel low frequency effects and perceive vibration, a
subwoofer is necessary.
Placement of the speakers
The center speaker in the center must be placed above or below the TV to
avoid magnetic interference.
The location of the subwoofer is not important, as low frequencies are not
directional. The rear surround speakers should be placed almost two metres
above the floor.
Choice of speakers
The speakers should be loud enough. The impedance of the front speakers
and surround speakers must be 4-8 Ω.
