Function Explanation
Profiles - The Home, Away and Holiday preset user profiles can be adjusted to suit the user.
Self-learning phase - During the self-learning phase, the Pontos Base stores the user's usage habits and adapts the Home profile after a pre-defined period
of time. There is no leakage protection during the self-learning phase!
Leakage - Maximum water volume that can be withdrawn in one go.
Water volume Example: The tap with the largest withdrawal volume is a bath tub. The capacity of the bath tub is approx. 120 litres. Set the value in
the Home profile to 200 litres.
Leakage - If a withdrawal that lasts longer than the set time is detected, the device locks.

Leakage - If the set water flow is exceeded, the device will lock after one minute.

- Possible usage scenarios:
- The settings must always be adjusted to the largest consumer.
- If multiple consumers are used at the same time, their flows must be added together.
Micro-leakage detected - The micro-leakage test can detect small leak volumes that fall below the turbine's start-up limit. The water supply is briefly interrupted
here and the volume of the water still flowing is measured.
- If water escapes during the test, the device will detect the pressure drop and the stop valve is opened.
Pontos Scout reports - If a connected Pontos Scout reports a leakage, the Pontos Base shuts off the water pipe. (The Pontos Scout is an optional accessory
leakage and does not come with the Pontos Base)

parameters, receive push notifications and use other features, including the self-learning phase, emergency contact and automated
schedule.
