After changing the battery, the battery compartment is connected in the same way as for the initial
commissioning, and is attached to the wall. In this case, the fitting performs a new calibration, beginning
immediately upon connection of the battery compartment.
Only the battery compartment or the power supply unit supplied should be connected to the electrical
connection cable of the fitting.
2.3 Range selection function
Setting the range
The cable between the fitting and the battery compartment or power supply unit must be disconnected. The
LED in the sensor window displays a steady light. When this goes out, the cable can be reconnected.
The LED flashes three times and then displays a steady light. The sensor window must now be covered
completely with the hand for approx. 20 seconds.
When the hand is removed, the LED goes out and then signals the set range by flashing. If the LED flashes
once, the standard range has been set; if it flashes twice, the shortened range has been set. A steady light is
then displayed for approx. 10 seconds.
If the desired range has not been set after this process, the procedure should be repeated.
With shortened range the closing impulse is indicated by the LED flashing.
2.4 Hygiene flush
The tap has a fully automatically functioning hygiene flush. 24 hours after the tap was last used an automatic
activation of the valve will take place and with this a water flow for 10 seconds. In case the tap isn't used for
another 24 hours after this the process will repeat itself. Please note that this automatic water flow does not
mean the tap is defective!

Cleaning and care
Thorough, regular and correct cleaning of the powder-coated surfaces is absolutely essential, both in order to
retain the decorative appearance and to reduce the corrosive load of the outside. Water spots etc. can easily be
removed using a soft cloth.
For purposes of normal maintenance cleaning, only clean water (not over 25°C) should be used, if necessary
with the addition of small quantities of a pH-neutral or alkaline detergent (no long action times). Greasy, oily or
sooty substances or the residues of stickers, silicon rubber or adhesive tape can be removed effortlessly using
white spirit or isopropyl alcohol. It must be absolutely ensured, however, that non-abrasive cloth or cotton wool
is used (avoid vigorous rubbing).
Organic solvents containing esters, ketones, alcohols, aromatic compounds, glycol ethers, halogenated
hydrocarbons or the like, or acidic or highly alkaline detergents, and high-pressure or steam cleaners must
never be used. After cleaning, the surface should be wiped down with a soft, dry cloth.
