● Be sure to observe the relevant regulations
for electrical installation; in Germany this is
particularly VDE 0100, with the corre-
sponding parts.
● Guarantee the degree of protection by
undertaking installation correctly and cor-
rectly feeding the cables into the housing.
7.1 Preparations for installation
1. Switch off the mains power supply, po-
sition a visible warning sign to avoid the
unit being accidentally switched back on,
check that there is no voltage present.
2. The prescribed minimum distances be-
tween the wall and the ceiling shown in
the following figure must be observed.
