Thank you for selecting the MCE 55 condenser
microphone. Please take some time to read carefully
through this product information before using this
microphone.
Applications
The MCE 55 has been designed for unobtrusive
miking of speech and vocals and is therefore ideal
for theatre, broadcasting and film applications.
Mounting
The supplied mic enables optimum mounting
and positioning of the MCE 55.
Due to its omnidirectional polar pattern, the MCE 55
reduces pop noise and vibration. You can fix the
microphone to your clothes or close to the body e.g.
in the hair.

Maintenance

Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning the MCE 55
microphone and connecting cable. If necessary, you
can use a gentle cleansing agent (such as washing-
up liquid). Take care not to allow any water to enter
the transducer elements and do not use any solvent
cleansers.
You can clean the polyurethane foam wind shield in
clear water. The wind shield has to be completely
dry before it is used again.
