PREPARATION
To operate this barbecue, you will need to purchase a LPG gas cylinder. You will also need to buy a
hose and a regulator If they are not supplied with the BBQ. The hose and regulator can be obtained
from your nearest gas retailer.
Warning:
• Only use a hose complied with standard EN16436 and in accordance with national regulations. The
hose cannot be longer than 1.5 meter.
• Only use a regulator complied with standard EN16129 and national regulations.
• Never leave the regulator attached to the gas cylinder if disconnected from the gas hose.
Energy saving tips
• Reduce the opening time of the lid.
• Turn the gas of as soon as you have inished cooking.
• Preheat the barbecue for 5 to 10 minutes only.
• (Except for the irst use. Preheat for 10 mins with the lid open)
• Do not preheat longer than recommended.
• Do not use a higher setting than required.
• Do not cook with the lid down using maximum heat settings.

INSTALLATION

After purchasing your gas cylinder you will then be ready to use your barbecue.
• Position the gas cylinder at the side of your barbecue, keeping in mind that the cylinder must be kept
away from heat and in a safe position.
• NEVER place the gas cylinder inside the cabinet of the barbecue
• Attach the regulator to the gas cylinder valve correctly (refer to the instruction manual provided by
the regulator).
• Connect one end of the gas hose to the barbecue and the other to the regulator, and tighten the
hose at either end using the jubilee clips.
• Perform the gas leak test as described in the SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
TIP: To connect the gas hose to the barbecue and regulator, we suggest
that the hose is softened in hot water or from the heat of a hair dryer. This will
make the hose easier to push on the barbecue and regulator.
Note:
Before attempting to light your barbecue you must refer to your lighting instructions and warning/
safety points.
Precaution:
• Check the hose before each and every use, looking for cracks, cuts or any abrasions.
• If the hose is found to be faulty in any way do not use your barbecue. Replace the hose, only with a
hose complied with standard EN16436 and in accordance with national regulations. The hose should
not be longer than 1.5 meters.
• Ensure that the hose is free from any kinks or bends that can afect the gas low when using your
barbecue. The hose must not have undue tension and must not touch any part of the barbecue.
• When changing your gas cylinder ensure that there are no sources of ignition close by i.e. ires, ciga-
rettes, naked blame etc. Make sure that the appliance is switched of.
• The gas cylinder should be changed only by a competent person in an outdoor well ventilated area,
and must be kept away from any source of ignition
• This appliance must be kept away from lammable materials.
