• Starke Stöße gegen das Gerät.
• Umgebungstemperaturen über 40 °C (104 °F).
• Übermäßige Verschmutzung oder Feuchtigkeit. Durch
den Ventilator werden Schmutz und Feuchtigkeit
in das Gerät gesaugt und können dort zu Schäden
führen.
2.3 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die TECHNO LED nova™ 100 ist für endoskopische
Inspektionen im industriellen Bereich vorgesehen.
2.4 Qualifikation des Anwenders
Das Produkt darf nur von KARL STORZ autorisierten
Personen angewendet werden, die über eine
entsprechende fachliche Qualifikation verfügen.
2.5 Sicherheitsmaßnahmen am Einsatzort
Das Gerät darf in explosions gefährdeten Bereichen
weder aufgestellt noch betrieben werden.
Das Gerät ist mit einer Steckvorrichtung für den
Poten tial ausgleich ausgerüstet. Diese nach Maßgabe
der national gültigen Vorschriften anschließen.
Betrieb nur bei Anschluss an das öffentliche Stromnetz
(100-240 V, Wechselstrom, 50/60 Hz) über Steckdosen
mit Schutzkontakt, die entsprechend den geltenden
nationalen Normen und Richtlinien installiert sind.
Es ist keine weitere Energiezufuhr (außer der
elektrischen Energie zum Betreiben des Gerätes)
möglich / erforderlich.
Warnung: Das Gerät darf auf keinen Fall im
Bereich brennbarer Flüssigkeiten und Gase oder
bei hoher Konzentration von Sauerstoff oder Staub
betrieben werden
Warnung: Das Gerät darf keinem Niederschlag
ausgesetzt werden. Der Betrieb bei
kondensierender Atmosphäre (Feuchträume) ist
nicht zulässig

2.2 What you should avoid:
• Strong impacts against the device.
• Ambient temperatures in excess of 40°C (104°F)
• Excessive dirt or humidity. The fan sucks dirt and
humidity into the housing, which may result in
damage.
• Turning the lamp on/off frequently. A too frequent
turning on/off of the lamp with short operating cycles
will drastically reduce the service life of the lamp.
The lamp should be kept running for at least
2-3 minutes before being switched off.
2.3 Intended use
TECHNO LED nova™ 100 is intended for endoscopic
inspections in industry.
2.4 User qualification
This product must only be used by persons authorized
by KARL STORZ who are suitably qualified.
2.5 Safety measures at the location of use
The device must not be installed or operated in poten-
tially explosive atmospheres.
The device is equipped with a connector for potential
equalization. It should be connected up in accordance
with national regulations.
Use only when connected to the public power grid
(100 - 240 V, AC, 50/60 Hz) through grounded outlets
that are installed according to the applicable national
standards and directives.
The supply of additional energy (other than electrical
energy to operate the device) is not possible or
necessary.
Warning: Never use in the presence of flammable
liquids or gases or in the presence of an elevated
oxygen or dust concentration
Warning: Do not expose the device to
precipitation. Operation in condensing
environments (high-humidity rooms) is not
permissible.
