Advanced Controls: Tools tab

The Tools tab gives you access to controls that allow you to customize
your DroboPro/DroboElite. In this window you can safely shut down or
reset your DroboPro/DroboElite, manage volumes, or change specific
settings in your Drobo storage device. (Note: Clicking the Reset button
erases all data on your DroboPro or DroboElite.) Additionally, this page
displays useful information, including the unit's serial number and
current software and firmware versions, and provides an easy way to
check for updates of Drobo Dashboard and your unit's firmware.

Additional features

Drobo Dashboard provides the following additional functionality to your
DroboPro/DroboElite, enabling you to make custom backups and
receive email notifications.
DroboCopy
DroboCopy provides an easy way to back up files to or from your
DroboPro/DroboElite. Select the folder you want to back up, the
location you want to back it up to, the time you want it to run, and you
are all set. Your selected backup folder and all the items within it will be
copied the first time DroboCopy runs. Subsequently, only new and
updated files will be copied to the destination folder. (Updated files will
replace older files.)
