The translator includes a 12-digit calculator with memory and
percentage functions.

1. Turn the unit over and locate the small RESET hole on the back of the
product.
2. Insert a small, thin, blunt instrument, such as a paperclip, into the
hole, press gently and then release.
Your unit should now have reset and the display will show the prompt

You are now ready to re-use your unit. If the unit is still not working,
the battery may need replacing.

11. Batteries

The unit comes supplied with one CR2032 battery. If the display
contrast becomes dim even after adjustment you should replace the
battery with a new one, as soon as possible. To replace the battery:

1. Undo the screw on the back of the unit's battery door and then
remove it.
2. Take out the battery, noting the polarity, and then replace with a new
one making sure the polarity is correct.
3. Replace the battery door and it's screw.

12. Care and Safety

1. Avoid extremes in temperature, exposure to direct sunlight, water,
humidity and dust.
2. Don't drop the Translator as this may damage it.
3. Do not use detergent, liquid cleaners or solvents to clean unit. Wipe
unit with clean, soft dry cloth.

4. Keep unit away from strong magnetic fields (e.g. loudspeakers), and
any source static electricity.
5. Don't attempt to dismantle unit. There are no user serviceable parts
inside and any attempt to do so will render the warranty void.
6. We strongly recommend that your keep a written record of all
important data. In almost any electronic memory system, data can be
lost under certain circumstances. We therefore accept no liability for
loss of data whether this is caused by incorrect use, repairs, error,
changing batteries, using batteries after they have expired or other
circumstances.
7. We do not accept any direct or indirect liability for financial losses or
claims from third parties, which result from using this product and all
its functions, such as stolen credit card numbers, loss or modification
of data.
DO NOT dispose of old batteries by throwing into a fire. They may
explode and cause serious injury. ALWAYS dispose of batteries carefully.
