Onneksi olkoon uuden Philipsin tuttipullojen sterilointilaitteen hankinnan johdosta! Vauvan
tuttipullojen, tuttien ja pullon renkaiden sterilointi on erittäin tärkeätä lapsellesi vahingollisten
bakteereiden ja taudinaiheuttajien tuhoamisessa.
Jotkut sitkeät bakteerit ja taudinaiheuttajat pysyvät hengissä, jos sterilointi tapahtuu liian nopeasti.
Jotta desinfiointi olisi täydellinen, veden lämpötilan on oltava yli 95 ºC ja steriloinnin kestettävä
vähintään kolme minuuttia. Philipsin tuttipullojen sterilointilaite toimii juuri näin ja takaa, että
jokainen tuttipullon osa ja varuste tulee täydellisesti steriloiduksi. Koska Philipsin tuttipullojen
sterilointilaitteeseen mahtuu jopa yhdeksän pulloa, tarvitset sitä vain kerran päivässä!
Philipsin tuttipullojen sterilointilaite on osa kokonaista Philips Baby-Care tuoteryhmää, joka on
suunniteltu vauvasi hyvän hoidon avuksi.
Lue nämä ohjeet huolellisesti ja säilytä ne tulevaa tarvetta varten.

IMPORTANT NOTES
– The surface on which the Philips Baby Bottle Steriliser is placed must be dry, non-slip and
horizontal.
– Do not allow the mains cable to come into contact with a hot boiling bowl.
– Do not put anything on top of the steriliser.
– Under no circumstances should the appliance be operated without water in the boiling bowl.
– Keep your steriliser out of reach of small children, especially when in use.
– Do not touch or open the unit during or immediately after use as it will be hot and could
scald or burn.
– Always place baby bottles and teats in the container with their opening facing downwards.
– Wash and clean the bottles and teats first before putting them in the steriliser.
– Do not put bottles or accessories in the steriliser that can not withstand a temperature of
95 ºC.
– Do not use chemical sterilising solutions or tablets in your steriliser.
– Do not allow any articles to be sterilised to touch the hot boiling bowl.
– Do not immerse the base in water.
– Do not clean the Philips Baby Bottle Steriliser when it is plugged into the mains.
– Sterilising means destroying harmful bacteria at a temperature of 95º C for more than 3
minutes. It does NOT mean sterilisation according to clinical standards.

NSTALLATION
Before connecting the Baby Bottle Steriliser to the mains, check to ensure that the mains outlet is
220-240V AC. Unreel the required length of cable from the cable reservoir (9) and plug into the
mains socket. The steriliser is powered as long as it is plugged into the utility outlet but it has an
automatic switch-off feature, so you do not need to manually switch it off.
Warning:
- The boiling bowl can be extremely hot; do not touch it for some time after use.
- Never allow the power cable to come into contact with a hot boiling bowl.
Note: When the Philips Baby Bottle Steriliser is plugged in for the first time it will be ON. After a
few minutes it will switch off automatically. The boiling bowl (5) gets hot.
