TOOL USE

1.1 Connection to the compressed air supply
To ensure that the nailer operates, perfectly filtered, dry,
oiled compressed pressure is required in sufficient quantities
(see chapter "Specifications "). Observe the following points
when selecting the compressed air supply:
y
If the pressure in the supply network is higher than the
permissible operational pressure of the nailer (8.3 bar),
an additional pressure control valve (pressure regulator)
with a downstream pressure control valve must be
installed in the supply line.
y
When compressed air is generated by a compressor the
natural atmospheric humidity condenses. This condensa-
tion must be removed by a moisture trap. Otherwise
corrosion can begin in the compressed air system and in
the nailer and cause wear and tear
y
Permanently installed lines for the compressed air sys-
tem should have an internal diameter of at least 19 mm.
The hose connection to the nailer should have an internal
diameter of at least 8 mm.
y
Compressed air lines should be laid with a downward
slope from the compressor to the consumer.
y
Terminals for consumers should be connected to the up-
per side of permanently installed compressed air lines.
1.1.1 Lubrication
If there is no maintenance unit, oil the air inlet on the nailer
with SENCO pneumatic oil; under normal operational condi-
tions 5-10 drops twice daily is enough.
1.1.2 Connection
To connect the nailer to the compressed air supply carry out
the following steps:
1. Ensure that the pressure in the compressed air system
does not exceed the permissible operational pressure of
the nailer (8.3 bar).
2. Set the air pressure at the lowest level of the recom-
mended operational pressure (6 bar).
3. Empty the magazine to avoid a nail from being ejected
in the following steps. This could happen if parts of the
nailer are not in the starting position due to previous
maintenance or repair work or due to transport.
4. Connect the connecting nipple on the nailer to the
compressed air supply using a hose connection equipped
with quick connectors.
Make sure the nailer is working perfectly. To do this, place
the outlet on a piece of wood or woodwork. - Now pull
the nailer towards you without activating the trigger. The
system should not be set off. - Repeat the process with
an activated trigger. The system should now be set off at
regular intervals.

1.3 Insert the battery
Insert the charged battery into the battery receptacle from the top.
1.4 Switching the appliance on / off
Press the On / Off button. When the device is ready for
operation, the laser is switched on.
1.5 Signal wheel / trip fuse
The signal wheel is movable in height. By placing the system
on the workpiece, the signal wheel is raised and the device is
switched off. (Trigger release)
1.6 Adjust the clamp distance
The distance between the brackets is freely adjustable from
30mm in 5mm increments.
The optimum clip spacing can be selected for each project.
There is basically one
Distance SHORT for the edge of the plate and a distance
LONG for the inner surface of the plate. These are set to
70/140 mm by default. See display.
To adjust the distance, follow these steps:
y
Select a clip spacing SHORT / LONG after 4.7.
y
The signal wheel must be in the lower position. To do this,
lift the unit and place a suitable object under the trolley.
y
Press shutter release button and then press shift button.
Hold both of the switches for 2 seconds, the control will
switch to the setting mode. The Shift key will flash.
y
To increase the clamp distance by 5mm, press a trigger
repeatedly until the desired value appears on the display.
y
To lower the clamp distance by 5mm, press one shift key
repeatedly until the desired value appears on the display.
y
Remove the object under the carriage, so that the signal
wheel again is raised. The control goes back to the
operating mode.
y
For the second distance, repeat the procedure. The set
distance is also retained when the control is switched off.
