Open the emergency stop cover (19), and
activate the machine using the on/off
switch. Please allow the saw blade time to
reach full speed.
Place the item which is to be processed
onto the saw bench (13), and move it
towards the saw blade in a smooth, even
movement.
Please ensure that the item which is to be
processed is supported on the other side
of the machine so that it does not simply
fall to the fl oor. This is especially important
when planing longer items.
Replacing saw blades
Warning! These blades are very sharp and
must be handled with great care.
Loosen the thumbscrews (picture 1), and
remove the side cover (remove 2).
Hold the spindle in position using a single
head wrench (picture 3) and loosen the
screw using a socket spanner (picture 4).
Turn off the machine using the on/off
switch.

Cleaning and maintenance

Remove any dust and/or shavings on a
regular basis, using a brush or air pressure.
Regularly remove any resin residue, and
the like, from the thicknesser using a resin
remover.
The ball-bearings have been lubricated at
the factory and do not require any further
maintenance.
Remove the screw, outer fl ange and the
blade. Remove any dust and saw debris
from the spindle and mount the new blade.
Please check that the blade is turning
correctly in relation to direction of rotation.
Remount the fl ange and screw again and
then tighten the screw into position.
