Method of use

In the event that a dangerous situation
arises, the thicknesser can be stopped very
quickly by pressing in the emergency stop
button (19). Please note that it will take a
couple of seconds before the blade is at a
complete standstill.
The thicknesser is equipped with an
overload fuse. If this fuse is tripped during
use, the zero reset button (18) must be
pushed in before the thicknesser can be
activated again.

As a thicknesser
Please check that the thicknesser is in
a completely stable position. Mount a
shavings extraction tube onto the shavings
remover where applicable.
Set the planing depth on the adjustment
grip (20).
Open the emergency stop cover (19), and
activate the thicknesser using the on/off
switch. Please allow the blade time to reach
full speed.
Place the item which is to be processed
onto the insertion platform (21) on the front
side of the thicknesser and insert it carefully.
When the item reaches the feed roller, it will
be grabbed by the roller and pulled across
the blade.
Always start the operation by planing a thin
shaving from the item.
Please ensure that the item which is to be
processed is supported on the other side of
the thicknesser so that it does not simply
fall to the fl oor. This is especially important
when planing longer items.
Turn off the thicknesser using the on/off
switch.

As a planer
Remove the blade guard.
Set the required planing depth.
Open the emergency stop cover (19), and
activate the planer using the on/off switch.
Please allow the blade time to reach full
speed.
Place the item which is to be processed
onto the planing bench (4), and move
it towards the blade in a smooth, even
movement. Always start the operation by
planing a thin shaving from the item.
Please ensure that the item which is to be
processed is supported on the other side of
the planer so that it does not simply fall to
the fl oor. This is especially important when
planing longer items.
Turn off the planer using the on/off switch.
As a circular saw bench
Set the required distance between the saw
blade and the parallel guide.
If you are sawing a bevel you will need to
set the required angle on the parallel guide.
If you are sawing a mitre joint, you will need
to set and lock off the angle of the mitre
joint tool and then use it to push the item
against the saw blade.
If you are working with small items, you will
need to use the insertion pin provided.
