A locking device controls the hose length pulled out or rewound.
A self-layering mechanism rewinds the hose cleanly onto the reel.
The reel can be swivelled through 180° to enlarge the range of use.
The automatic hose-reel has high flow rate, and high pressure.
Hose use
The reel is supplied with a high quality kink-resistant hose.
After use, please turn off the water supply and remove excess water in the hose. Then rewind
the hose.
In some areas of high temperatures, the sunlight will heat and damage the hose, which will
cause the hose to be difficult to rewind. It is best to turn off the water before retracting the
hose.
Do not leave the reel outside if the temperature is very low. Under this condition, the hose
may be less flexible and difficult to retract.
Do not bring any chemical or substance such as acetone, white spirits, lactic acid etc. into
contact with the hose reel.
Please note the hose of the reel cannot be used for drinkable water.
How to latch and retract hose correctly
This reel is fitted with ratchet device, making it very easy to extend and retract the hose.
While pulling out the hose, you can hear the clicking of the ratchet.
When you pull out the hose length needed, clicking of the ratchet will be heard. At this point,
the hose can be released and the reel will be latched by the ratchet (Fig. 7, picture when the
ratchet is in use, V is the pulling direction of the hose).
To retract the hose, pull the hose out only about 300mm, when ratchet clicking will not be
heard; you can retract the hose now.
To retract, it is suggested that a minimum of 25% of the hose be extended.
During retraction, always hold the nozzle and follow the retraction until it is finished.
To avoid hose rewinding too fast, always hold hose nozzle firmly.
If the hose has twists in it, it is necessary to extend the hose to full length then allow it to
retract smoothly and evenly back onto the reel.
Note :
When not in use, it is advisable to store your reel indoors in a dry location. Always lock up
product and keep out of reach of children
Remark:
If the hose cannot be retracted after using for a certain time, this maybe because the spring
that is fatigued. To re-tension the spring: firstly, remove the left cover from reel, clamp the
head of spring and remove it from reel; then rotate anti-clockwise the unit for 1-2 turns,
re-install the spring head in the reel; lastly, replace the left cover
