Avoiding Fire Hazards with Built-in Appliances
Always observe the instructions contained in the section "Instal-
lation Instructions".
•
Do not remove the feet on the underside of the device.
•
Use only the mounting materials supplied for the installation.
•
When installing the microwave oven, please adhere to the
dimensions shown in drawings 1 and 2.
•
The rear wall of the cupboard has to be removed!
•
There is a ventilation slot at the bottom edge of the mounting
frame. Keep the ventilation slots free at all times.

Installation Instructions
This microwave oven must be installed in a tall or wall cupboard.
Please note the following instructions:
•
Remove everything that is fragile from the adjacent cup-
boards.
•
For installation the cabinet must meet the following condi-
tions:
•
The cupboard must not contain any cracks, splinters or
other damage. All connections must be stable.
•
The cupboard must be designed for a minimum load of
40 kg.

•
The microwave oven must be installed at a height of at
least 85 cm.
•
The rear wall of the cupboard has to be removed so that
the microwave oven is ventilated!
•
The thickness of the cupboard wall must be at least
19 mm.
•
Wall cupboards must be anchored fi rmly in the wall with
at least 2 screws. Check the stability by attaching an
appropriate weight.
•
In the case of wall cupboards the installation depth of
the cupboard has to be at least 320 mm.
CAUTION:
Do not install the device above a cooker!
•
When installing the device it must be ensured that there is a
power socket within reach.
•
The mains socket must be within easy reach, so that the
plug can be quickly removed in an emergency.
•
Important! Do not connect the device to the mains power
supply until after installation!
WARNING:
•
Please adhere to the dimensions stated in the installation
instructions.
•
The installation accessories supplied should be used.
•
If screws are inserted too deeply (screws too long) this
may damage the device or represent a hazard to the user
or others.
Dimensions of the Built-in Cupboard
Make a built-in cupboard or a niche in accordance with the
following dimensional drawings. Figure 1 is for wall cupboards,
fi gure 2 for tall cupboards.
Installation (Figures 3 to 6)
•
Screw the adjustment screw (A) completely into the upper
air duct (E).
•
Put the microwave in the built-in cupboard.
•
Now unscrew the adjustment screw until it is about 1 mm
below the top of the cupboard.
NOTE:
This prevents the microwave oven from tilting over in the
cupboard.
