Thecarcigarettelighteradaptorrunsonacompletelydifferentvoltagefromtheoneusedathome;the
warminguptimeswillthereforedifferquiteconsiderably.
MAINTAINING THE TEMPERATURE
Attheendofthewarmingcycle,youwillhear5shortbeepsandthegreenLEDwillcomeon,unless
youswitchitoff(turningtheknobto"O"),theappliancewillkeepthefoodwarmforamaximumof60
minutesfromthestartofthecycle;after60minutes,theappliancewillswitchoffautomatically.
WARNING:
Duringthemaintenancecycle,thetemperatureofthefoodmayriseabove37°C.
Alwayscheckthetemperatureofthecontentsbeforegivingthemtochildren.
CLEANING, CARE & MAINTENANCE OF THE APPLIANCE
Whenyoufinishusingtheappliance,alwaysunplugthebottlewarmer'spowercableplugfromthe
mainssocket.Allowthebottlewarmertocooldowncompletely,removeanywaterleftinsideanddry
theinsidethoroughly;storeitinacleananddryplace.
Duringnormaluseoftheappliance,scaleresiduemaybuildupinsidethewatertankwhichcancom-
promisetheperformanceanddamagetheapplianceovertime.Toremovethescalefromthebottom
ofthetank,checkthatthebottlewarmeriscold,makeasolutionofwaterandwhitevinegar,inequal
parts,andpourintothetank;leavetosoakovernight.
NeverswitchthebottlewarmerONwhenthetankisbeingsoakedinthewater-whitevinegarmix.On
completingthedescalingcycle,rinsetheinsideofthetankthoroughly;thenwashanddrytheinside
andoutsideoftheappliance.Fillthebottlewarmertankwith140mlofwaterandcompleteanidle
emptycycle.WhenthegreenpilotlightcomesON,switchtheapplianceOFF,leavetocooldownand
thenremoveanywaterleftinsideanddrythoroughly.
Useasoftdampclothtocleantheexternalpartsoftheappliance.
Inordertoavoidtheformationofscaleresidues,itisnecessarytofrequentlycleanthewatertank,atleast
onceaweek,ormoreoftenifthewaterusedhasahighlimestonecontent.
Donotusetools,abrasiveproducts,harshdetergents,alcohol,solventsorsimilarproductswhenclean-
ingtheappliance,whichmaycausepermanentdamagetothebottlewarmerand/oritsaccessories.
WARNING:
- N everplacethebottlewarmerdirectlyunderarunningwatertap,andneversubmergetheappliance,
theplugorthepowercableinwateroranyotherliquid.
- N everplacethebottlewarmerinthedish-washer.
