4.5. System protection

High temperature protection
When the compressor is running, the system will check the system temperature. If the system detects a
continuous temperature of more than 75 ° C for more than 5 seconds, the system will judge this as a
temperature error, the compressor and the fan motor will stop, and the display will show the error code "E03".
If the temperature drops by more than 10 ° C than the set parameter c3 (default setting: 75 ° C), the fan motor
and the compressor will restart (if they have been stopped for more than 3 minutes).
If this error occurs 3 times within 30 minutes, the system is locked, the 2 indicator LEDs flash together and
display error code "E03". The system can then only be restored by switching off the power supply.
Low pressure protection
When the compressor runs for 5 minutes and the system detects a low pressure for 10 seconds, this protection
is activated and the error code "EL" is displayed. When the low pressure switch detects a correct pressure
again, this protection is cancelled.
If this error occurs 3 times within 30 minutes, the system will lock, the "Running" indicator light will flash and
the "E03" error code will be displayed. The system can then only be restored by switching off the power supply.
Outgoing water temperature sensor failure
If the system detects a defect in the water temperature sensor due to disconnection or short circuit, it will
evaluate the malfunction and display the error code "E01", after which the heat pump will be stopped for
protection.
Ambient temperature sensor failure
When the system detects a defect in the ambient temperature sensor due to disconnection or short circuit, it
will evaluate the malfunction and display the error code "E02", after which the heat pump will be stopped for
protection.
High temperature protection sensor failure
When the system detects a defect in the high temperature protection sensor due to disconnection or short
circuit, it will evaluate the malfunction and display the error code "E04", after which the heat pump will be
stopped for protection.
Auto restart
This parameter can be preset, the system always saves it. If the power supply to the heat pump is
unexpectedly switched off, the heat pump will automatically operate with the same settings when it is switched
on again as before the power switched off.
