Maintenance and repair

Disconnect the light from the
mains before carrying out any
maintenance or repair work! This
work must be carried out only by a
qualified electrician!
As replacement parts only use
lamp types approved by the manu-
facturer!

Changing the lamp

a) Disconnect the light.
b) Insert a screw driver into the
slit between the reflectorhou-
sing and the lens and push it
upwards cautiously (see Fig.
5).
c) Pull out the fluorescent lamp in
longitudinal direction out of the
socket.
d) Insert new lamp into the socket.
Mount the lens again.
Attention! Only use lamp types
approved by the manufacturerer
(see „Technical data").
Care
Note: Clean the transparent lens
regularly to ensure maximum
brightness.
Please use a cloth and a normal
household cleaning agent to clean
the light parts.
Please ensure that the cleaning
agent used does not damage
paints and plastics.
Cleaning the magnifying glass:
The magnifying glass can be clea-
ned with an dilute solution of a
normal household detergent and a
clean, soft cotton cloth.
To avoid stains, dry the magnifying
glass with a soft dry cotton cloth
after cleaning.
Disposal
Return the unit at the end of
its service life to the available
recycling systems.
Defective fluorescent lamps must
be disposed of as special refuse.
