Use the appliance for processing normal
amounts of food for the household.
The appliance is maintenance-free.
The instructions for use describe several
models. Differences are indicated.
Keep the instructions for use in a safe place!
If passing on the appliance to a third party,
always include the instructions for use.

1 Rotary knob with stop plate
Set slicing width (0 to 15 mm).
2 Safety lock
Press before switching on.
Prevents the appliance from being
unintentionally switched on.
3 Switch ON buttons
a Quick-action operation.

Only MAS 93../95..:
4 Cheese button
Select lower speed, e.g. for slicing cheese.
5 Blade
Only MAS 95.. (not illustrated):
Auxiliary blade without wave cut for ham;
with blade holder.
6 Blade cover
7 Carriage
Guide the food which is to be sliced against
the blade.
8 Slide
Lock the carriage in the end position
Slide on the left.
Move the carriage: Slide on the right.
9 Base
Supports the carriage.
10 "Sausage end" holder
Cuts residual pieces safely.
11 Serving tray (integrated in the appliance)
Catch and serve sliced food;
Pull out the serving tray and insert the other
way round.
12 Cord store
Stow cord.
Only MAS 95..: with automatic cord winder.

Safety information

d Risk of injury
Connect and operate the appliance only in
accordance with the specifications on the rating
plate.
Do NOT use if the cord or appliance is
damaged.
Keep children away from the appliance.
After using the appliance, if leaving the
appliance unattended or if the appliance
malfunctions, ALWAYS pull out the plug.
Do NOT pull the cord over sharp edges.
To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing
a damaged cord, should only be carried out
by customer service.
Make out-of-service appliances unusable.

Instructions on disposal

Please ask your dealer or inquire at your local
authority about current means of disposal.

Operating the appliance

Before using the appliance for the first time,
clean thoroughly.
Preparation
S Place the appliance on a smooth, clean
surface.
Only MAS 95..:
Pull out the cord (12)
(Automatic cord winder)
S Pull out the cord to the desired length in one
go and release slowly; the cord is locked.
S To reduce the length of the cord, give the cord
a gentle tug and allow it to wind up to the
desired length. Then give the cord a gentle
tug again and release slowly.
All models:
S Insert the plug.
S Attach the carriage (7) and "sausage end"
holder (10).
S Set the desired slicing width (1) (0 to 15 mm).
S In the lower adjustment range a very narrow
slicing width can be set (e.g. for salami, ham).
S If required, insert / remove the serving tray
(11).
Switching the appliance ON / OFF
d Risk of injury from the sharp blade
When the appliance has been switched OFF, the
blade continues rotating briefly. Keep hands
clear of the blade.
