Automatic search
1. Select "TUNER" mode using the ATV/FM/AV key (Fig. /1).
. Press the SCAN key (Fig. /18). The unit will now search
the current frequency band for stations and save these
automatically.
Note:
It is impossible to change the sequence of the stations.
To select the saved radio stations press the "▲CH+"/ "▼CH-"
keys (Fig. /8) or enter the saved station by using the num-
ber keys (Fig. /).
Manual search
1. Select "TUNER" mode using the ATV/FM/AV key (Fig. /1).
. Press ►/◄ direction keys (Fig. /1), to search for a
station. Repeatedly press the respective key until you have
found the station of your choice.
Note:
The selected station may not be saved.
Direct frequency input
1. Select "TUNER" mode using the ATV/FM/AV key (Fig. /1).
. Press the PROGRAM key (Fig. /8). If you know the
station's frequency, enter with the number keys (Fig. /).
Example: To enter the frequency 99,0 MHz, press 990
with the number keys.
Note:
The selected station may not be saved.

About the DVD-Player

You may play back a multitude of data formats with the
page 46, "Technical Data".
However, please note that most DVDs are furnished with a so
called "regional code". It determines for which world region the
DVD is designed. For example, DVDs with regional code "1"
are designated for the USA and Canada. DVDs marked with
the regional code "" are designated for Europe.
Notes:
You may only play back DVDs marked with regional code
"" on the DVD-Player. A multitude of burn and duplication
procedures as well as different levels of quality of (dupli-
cated) CDs/DVDs are available. Additionally the music in-
dustry does not adhere to a set duplication copyright. This is
the reason playback problems of CDs, DVDs and MP CDs
may be experienced in isolated cases. It is not a malfunc-
tion of the unit.
