• T ousethebreastpumpwithitsmains

the socket (7) of the motor body (3)
andtheninserttheplugofthemains
adaptertoawallsocket.
• T ousethebreastpumpwithalkaline
batteries, open the cover of the bat-
terycompartment(6)andinserttwo
AA type 1.5V batteries (not included)
ensuringtofollowtheircorrectpolar-
ity.Closethecompartment.
WARNING: alwaysremovethebatter-
iesfromthemotorbody(3)ifthebreast
pump is powered through the mains
adapter(15)and/orinthecasewhereit
is not employed for a long time.

USING THE BREAST PUMP
• B eforeeachuse,sanitizeallthecom-
ponents * performing a cold sanitiz-
ing by using sterilizing liquids (follow-
ing the instructions from the manu-
facturer), or a hot one (steam) using
specific devices, or by boiling them
(5 minutes), letting fully cool down all
thehotsanitizedcomponentsbefore
theiruse.
• W ash your hands and assemble the
breastpumpasshowninthePREPA-
RATIONparagraph.
• W ash your hands and cleanse your
breast with water or using one of
thepracticalChiccobreastcleansing
wipes.
NB: to accommodate the milk flow,
youcantakeahotshowerorapplya
warmclothonyourbreastjustbefore
expressing milk or breastfeeding your
child.
• S itdowncomfortablyandrelax.
• F itthecupoveryourbreastensuring
that the nipple is centred properly.
You can use the breast pump both
with and without the soft silicone
cover(1);Werecommendtryingboth
configurations before choosing the
best and most comfortable one for
you.
• T oswitchonthebreastpump,press
the on/off button "a" (Fig 2) on the

pump always starts in stimulation
