WARNINGS
REMOVING AND INSERTING NON
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
• Non-rechargeable batteries must
only be replaced by an adult.
• T oreplacethenon-rechargeablebat-
teries:removethecover,removethe
exhausted non-rechargeable bat-
teries from the compartment, insert
the new non-rechargeable batteries
ensuring to follow the right polarity,
repositionthecover.
• O nly use alkaline non-rechargeable
batteries of the same or equivalent
type recommended for the correct
operationofthisdevice.
• N ever use different types of non-re-
chargeablebatteriesorrechargeable
batteries and/or new and used non-
rechargeable batteries or recharge-
ablebatteriestogether.
• N ever short-circuit the poles/termi-
nalsofanon-rechargeablebatteryor
arechargeablebattery.
• N on-rechargeable
ablebatteriesmustbeplacedintheir
compartment by fitting them with
thecorrectpolarity.
• N on-rechargeablebatteriesmustnot
berecharged.Donottrytorecharge
non-rechargeablebatteries:theymay
explode.
• A lwaysremovebatteriesifyouexpect
nottousethedeviceforalongtime.
• N on-rechargeable/rechargeable bat-
teries must be removed from the
productpriortotheirrecharging.
• N on-rechargeable/rechargeable
batteries are to be charged under
adult supervision only. Do not use
rechargeablebatteriesforthisdevice,
asthesemayreduceorpreventcor-
rect operation.
• D onotemploylithiumbatteries,this
appliance is not designed to work
with lithium batteries. Using lithium
batteries may create hazardous con-
ditions.
• A lways remove exhausted non-
rechargeable/rechargeable batteries
fromthedevicetopreventleaksthat
can damage it and/or anything sur-
rounding it.
• I fthenon-rechargeableorrecharge-
able batteries are leaking any liquid,
replace them immediately and en-
sure that the battery compartment
isclean;thoroughlywashyourhands
incaseofanycontactwiththeleaked
liquid.
• D o not throw exhausted non-
rechargeable batteries and/or re-
chargeable batteries into fire, dis-
perseintheenvironmentordispose
ofthemasurbanwaste.
• R emove the non-rechargeable/re-
chargeablebatteriesfromthedevice
before disposal at a waste sorting
point.
