ATTENTION.
1. Before use, remove and dispose of all
plastic bags and packaging materi-
als and keep them out of reach of
children.
2. T hisapplianceisnotatoy.
3. A fter removing any packaging ma-
terials, ensure that the appliance
has not been damaged. In case of
doubt,donotusetheapplianceand
contact technically competent per-
sonnelorgowheretheproductwas
originallypurchased.
4. D o not place the appliance on deli-
catesurfacesorsurfacesthatmaybe
sensitivetowaterandhumidity.
5. D o not perform any cleaning or
maintenance operation on the
breast pump while it is operating,
when it is powered by alkaline bat-
teries (not supplied) or when it is
connected to the mains through its
mains adaptor.
6. W henusinganyelectricalappliance,
it is necessary to follow a few basic
safety rules:
• N ever touch the appliance with wet
ordamphands.
• Keep the appliance and the mains
adaptorawayfromheatsources.
• D onottouchtheappliance,itspower
cablesandthemainsadaptor,ifthey
haveaccidentallyfalleninwater;im-
mediately disconnect the power
supply,byloweringtheleverofyour
master switch and disconnect the
plug from the mains socket before
touchingtheappliance.Donotreuse
theappliancebutcontacttheretailer
or an Artsana S.p.A. authorised ser-
vice centre.
• I n case of appliance and/or mains
adaptor and/or power cord failure
and/or malfunction, turn them off 
immediatelyanddisconnecttheplug
from the mains. Do not attempt to
tamper with them or use them and
contactaretaileroranArtsanaS.p.A. ' s
authorisedservicecentre.
7. T heappliancemustbecleanedand
driedthoroughlyattheendofevery
cycle.
8. I n the case where the appliance is
not to be used for a prolonged time,
itshouldbethoroughlycleanedand
the batteries (if installed) removed
before storing it in a clean and dry
place away from light and heat
sources.
9. I fyoudecidetodiscontinuetheuse
oftheappliance,removethealkaline
batteries, if present, and deactivate
themainsadaptorbyremoving(after
having disconnected the plug from
the mains socket) its power cord,
do not dispose of it as normal urban
waste but apply waste sorting as it
is a waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE) as requested by
thecurrentEClegislationanddirec-
tives.
10. A lways remove the alkaline batter-
iesifyoudecidenottousethede-
vice for a long time.
11. T o avoid the risk of fire or electric
shock, do not step on the power
cord or lay it under carpets or close
toradiators,heatersorelectricfires.
12. O perate the appliance within a
temperaturerangebetween+15°C
to+40°C.
13. A ny repair/service made directly
bytheusermayleadtosevererisks
toherortoanythirdparty'ssafety
further to irreparably damage the
applianceandimplytheimmediate
terminationofthewarranty.
