Anleitung PS 13 Niro UKS_SPK7:_
these could damage the gas cylinder valve gas-
ket and leakage protection would no longer be
guaranteed.
2. Use an appropriate wrench size SW 17 and turn
counter-clockwise to connect the hose line (5) to
the pressure regulator output thread (6). When
doing so, you must hold a second wrench of the
correct size on the pressure regulator (faces are
provided on the pressure regulator for this pur-
pose) in order to stop the regulator being turned
or too much force being transferred. Use the
above tool to tighten the screw connection and to
guarantee tightness and prevent leaks.
3. Check all the connections at operating pressure
for leaks using a leak tester. If there are no
bubbles, the connection is tight and does not
leak. Do not conduct a leak test using a naked
flame. Porous or damaged hose lines and fittings
must be replaced immediately.

8. Replace the gas cylinder

Important. Refer to the safety information (sections 6.
and 6.1)
1. Select a place away from all sources of ignition.
2. Close the cylinder valve.
3. Undo the union nut on the pressure regulator.
4. Take the pressure regulator off the cylinder.
5. Screw the safety cap into the cylinder valve thread.
6. Connect the new cylinder as described in section 7.

9. Starting up

Notes:
Before starting the device and in particular after
lengthy period of non-use, check the gas supply
parts for blockages caused by insects, etc. If the
gas pipes are blocked, a dangerous flashback
may occur.
Do not start the party radiator until you are
certain that all the gas supply connections are
properly sealed.
Keep a safe distance away from the burner since
a shooting flame may be generated when you
start it caused by a gas accumulation.
To ensure that this does not happen when you
ignite the device, ensure that the regulating knob

is set to minimum (no flame symbol).

9.1 Check for leaks

With the gas cylinder valve open and the pressure
regulator closed, spray all the screw connections you
have made with leak detection spray to check for
leaks. If there are any leaks, bubbles will form at the
position. In this case close the cylinder valve
immediately and tighten the screw connections again.
Then check for leaks again. If the leak remains after
several attempts, please contact your customer
service.
9.2 Igniting and regulating the burner
1. Open the gas cylinder valve (Fig. 2 / Item 3).
2. Turn the regulating knob to the small flame
symbol, press it down and at the same time
press the piezo ignition repeatedly. Hold the
regulating knob for approx. 10 more seconds
after ignition until the burner remains on. If, in
exceptional circumstances, the device does not
ignite after you have pressed the piezo ignition 3
– 4 times, or the flame goes out, wait for at least
two minutes before attempting to start the device
again.
3. Always turn the regulating knob slowly from the
large flame symbol to the small flame symbol.
The device may go out if the knob is turned too
quickly.
4. To turn off the device, close the gas cylinder
valve (3).
Note:
A tilt guard shuts down the gas supply to the burner if
the machine tips over. If this happens, stand the party
radiator up again and ignite the burner again as
described in this manual. The tilt guard will trip
automatically.

10. Shutting down

Close the gas cylinder valve (Fig. 2 / Item 3)

11. Storage / Care / Repair

Remove the pressure regulator with gas hose
and check the gasket for damage. Please contact
ISC GmbH in case of damage.
