Purpose of the Operating Manual
The operating manual explains the function, the safety regulations, and the display of the charger.
For the safe handling of the charger the operating manual must be observed in any case by any person,
who operates the charger.

Intended Use
The chargers intended use is charging of rechargeable batteries only. For these chargers the corresponding
battery data are printed on the name plate.
This charger must not be used for not rechargeable batteries.
The charger is short circuit proof and protected against reverse polarity.
Guarantee
For this product we assume the legally binding warranty within the frame of our General terms. The con-
dition precedent to acknowledgement of warranty claims is in any case the intended use of the charger.

Requirements to the Place of Operation
Warning!
This charger is intended for operation in industrial areas and may cause radio interference within residen-
tial areas.
The charger may be operated in closed, frost free, and dry rooms only. The environmental temperatures
must be in the limits of 0°C and 35°C at the site of operation.
The place of operation is to select so that the air outlets are not covered and the cooling air flow is not
obstructed. The charger must not be set up near radiators or any other heat sources. A heat build-up at
the charger i.e. by blocking of the louvres must be excluded.
