Function Principle
The INFRAcontrol motion switches
are passive infra-redmotion switches.
Through a lens optic, the sensors
of the INFRAcontrol motion switch
can detect, assess and electronically
convert invisible heat radiation from
moving bodies (people, animals, etc.)
into switching operations.
Heat radiation cannot, however, pen-
etrate barriers such as walls, glass,
etc. This is to be taken into consider-
ation when choosing a suitable loca-
tion for installation.
The motion switch should, if possible,
be installed protected against rain,
wind and direct sunlight in order to
prevent unintended switching.
