Congratulations on your purchase of an Airoh helmet. Carefully read and keep to the instructions for use
provided herein and maintain them throughout the whole life of the helmet. Failure to observe these
instructions may reduce the protection provided by the helmet.
Microtech Retention System
Approved helmet quick release retention system.
The retention system is factory-adjusted at a standard length. Before use, check that it is correctly
pre-set. Put the helmet on and fasten the strap by inserting the fastening flap into the clip-on
mechanism.
In this position the chin strap should be well fastened and not be too tight round the neck. If the chin
strap is either too tight or too loose, it is necessary to carry out a customized adjustment by
shortening or lengthening the band at the fastening buckle,
-To fasten the strap, insert the fastening flap into the clip-on mechanism until you hear a double
click.
-To open the strap, pull the red lever. This will unfasten the system.
Warning!
Always carry out size adjustments with the motorcycle stopped.
High Optical Visor
Scratch-resistant visor made of 2.2 mm thick Lexan providing high quality vision. Rubber trims and visor
movement mechanism with 4 adjustment positions and tool-free release system.
Disassembly
1)Open the visor until the first grip pawl engages on the moving output slot.
2)Push the release lever towards the front of the helmet and unlock the first pawl,
3)Close the visor until the second grip pawl unlocks automatically.
4)Repeat the same steps on the other side, then remove the visor.
Assembly
1)Place the visor on the helmet and engage the first grip pawl on the moving slot.

Cleaning and maintenance
--Use only water and mild soap to clean the screen. Do not wipe. Dab dry with a soft cloth.
--Use only compressed air to clean the mechanism.
Attention!
Do not treat the visor with detergents, oils, solvents, paints, adhesive substances and other
chemicals that may alter and impair its optical and mechanical properties.
Attention!
If the visor shows scratches or marks that can impair vision, it must be replaced only with
original Airoh spare parts.
Integrated Sun Screen
Integrated slide-over sunscreen that can be adjusted with a control positioned outside the shell.
The screen can be used together with the visor, but alone it does not meet the approval requirements. It is
therefore forbidden to use the screen alone.
The special mechanism inside the helmet allows the screen to be opened and closed from outside the
helmet by simply moving the side slider built into the shell. Moulded in polycarbonate, thanks to the
specific characteristics of its materials, it is able to cut UV rays from 380 to 400 nm. It therefore acts as a
sun filter, guaranteeing optimum visibility even under extreme weather conditions. The standard helmet
is equipped with the dark smoke colour version of the screen, which is suitable for use on very sunny
days. Please see the table below to check the screens available at Airoh authorized dealers.

or any time the light is poor.
Attention!
Make the internal screen adjustments only when the motorcycle is stopped.
Attention!
If the visor shows scratches or marks that can impair vision, it must be replaced only with
original Airoh spare parts.
Top Painted Surface
Painted and UV-coated outer shell to preserve the durability and shine of its colour over time.
Wind Stop Device
Easily removable device, it limits cold air penetration from the bottom and reduces inner noise. It is
particularly suitable on cold days and in winter. Remove the Wind Stop Device, if any, by pulling it

downwards,
. To assemble it, insert the flaps into the clip-on fastening slots.
No-Fog Inner Lens
Inner lens with high fog resistance included in the helmet package. Applied inside the visor, it limits the
formation of condensation and prevents fogging. Instructions for assembly and use are inside the
envelope containing the lens. Use only original Airoh No-Fog inner visors.
Attention!
The use of the helmet visor together with the No-Fog lens is not approved as it can slightly
reduce the light transmittance and increase the light diffusion. We recommend using the No-Fog inner
lens only to improve the visibility in rainy days and by highly humid conditions.
Attention!
If the inner lens and the helmet visor show scratches or marks that may impair vision, they
must be replaced.
Attention!
If the lens is not mounted correctly, do not use the helmet and repeat the assembly operations
according to the specific instructions.
