7. Starting, operation
Step 4 (adjust hysteresis only S4250)
The hysteresis is set via a 2.5x0.4 screw driver. By turning carefully clockwise the hysteresis is
raised, by turning anti-clockwise the hysteresis is decreased. Please be aware that the hyste-
resis is not adjustable over the whole adjustment range (see data sheet).
Wrong handling can destroy the pressure switch!

Due to overturning the hysteresis screw, switching may no longer be possible
(contact gap inside the micro switch is too small or too large) or when

excessive force is applied, the contacts may break and the switch is destroyed.
Step 5
For protection of the adjustment screw against self-movement or adjustment by mistake you
should glue the adjustment screw after adjustment (model S4150 and S4250).
The models S4340 and S4350 can be locked over a 2 mm wrench key by turning the screw
inside the adjustment knob.
