IMPORTANTE
In mancanza di corrente, accertarsi sulla durata della sospensione.
Se la previsione non supera le 12 ore, lasciate gli alimenti nel congelatore e
tenete chiusa la porta.
Se la mancanza di corrente dovesse superare tale periodo di 12 ore e una parte
degli alimenti si dovesse scongelare, è opportuno consumare quest'ultimi al più
presto.
Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente prima di eseguire qualsi-
asi operazione.
In caso di lunga assenza (vacanze), l'apparecchio deve essere di-
sinserito, vuotato completamente, pulito ed asciugato avendo cura
di lasciare le porte aperte per evitare la formazione di cattivi odo-
ri.
SBRlNAMENTO
La brina che si forma sulle griglie di raffreddamento deve essere tolta quando lo
strato raggiunge uno spessore di circa 3-4 mm. perché altrimenti peggiora la
trasmissione del freddo e aumenta il consumo di energia. La rimozione dello

Should the power failure last for more than 12 hours and a part of the food
defrosts, consume the latter as soon as possible.
Pull out the mains plug before carrying out any operation.
In case of long absences (vacation) the appliance must be switched
off, emptied out completely, cleaned and dried and the doors left
open to prevent the formation of unpleasant smells.
DEFROSTING
The ice that forms on the freezer plates must be removed when it reaches a
thickness of about 3-4 mm otherwise the cooling system is less efficient and
energy consumption increases. The layer of ice must be removed by using the
special plastic scraper supplied.

zia. Generalmente il congelatore deve essere sbrinato almeno 2 volte l'anno
operando nel modo seguente:
- Circa 1 o 2 0re prima dello sbrinamento inserire l'interruttore per congelamen-
to rapido (luce gialla accesa) per raffreddare al massimo gli alimenti.
- Dopo tale periodo disinserire lo scomparto congelatore.
- Togliere gli alimenti e avvolgerli in più strati di carta di giornale e conservarli
in frigorifero o in un luogo fresco.

Generally speaking, the freezer needs to be defrosted at least twice a year
operating as fallows:
- about 1 or 2 hours before you start to defrost turn on the fast-freezer (yellow
light comes on) to make sure the frozen food is as cold as possible
- then unplug the freezer.
- remove the food products, wrap them up in newspaper and place them either
in a refrigerator or a cool place.
