INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
I.

Carefully read these instructions and keep them close at hand.

Remove all the packaging.

Clean the plates using a sponge or a damp cloth.

Never immerse the entire appliance in water or put it in the dishwasher.

Dry with a cloth or a paper towel.

For best results, oil the cooking plates slightly.
Instructions: When using for the first time, there may be a slight smell and some smoke.
This is normal with this type of appliance. This has no effect on the safety of your
appliance.
USING THE APPLIANCE

Place the appliance on a stable surface.

Open the appliance by moving the button (4) upwards to unlock it.

To remove and replace the plates, press the buttons (6).
Remark : For wafers, insert down the plate with opened border

Make sure that the plates are stable, well-positioned and properly clipped in place on the
appliance.

Close the waffle maker and plug the cable to the mains power. The red light (5A) lights up.
Pre-heat the appliance and the green light (5B) switches on when the cooking temperature has
been attained.

Open the appliance and place the preparations on the lower plates (waffle, wafer, toasted
sandwich).

Close the appliance.

Let the preparation cook for approximately 3 to 4 minutes by adjusting the cooking time to
your taste.

When it is ready, use the handle to open the appliance. Remove the food using a plastic or
wooden spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife because they can cause damage to the
cooking plates.

When you have finished, unplug the appliance and leave it open to cool down.

ADVICE FOR CARE AND STORAGE

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down for 1 hour.

The plates can the cleaned in the dishwasher or use a damp sponge with some dishwashing
liquid. Rinse them and dry them thoroughly.

Never use a metal sponge or scouring powder, which can damage the cooking surface.

To clean the outside of the appliance, use a damp sponge and wipe carefully.

Always make sure that the appliance is cold and dry before storing it.

Wind the cord in the space provided.

The appliance can be stored vertically to save space
